
The Chicago based alternative metal band GRIGORI 3 has been hard at work in the studio preparing for the release on their next album "ON YOUR SIX".The first single "Breathe" will be featured on the sound track for the upcoming movie " JEZEBETH" by Satania 666 Films/ Dark Star records/SGL Entertainment. The band was excited to get the call from producer Damien Dante and executive producer Jeffrey A .Swanson reporting that the wanted the soundtrack to include "Breathe" and a few other GRIGORI 3 favorites reported guitartist Ray R. Wise aka "The Skeleton King". The Jezebeth sound track features artists from the Dark Star's own label including:GRIGORI 3, Avery Watts, Drop,Lizette, Eden's Curse, House of Holland and Supermercado to name a few.
GRIGORI 3 's new album "ON YOUR SIX" features a musical hybrid of "EXILE" and some a few updated favorites. "ON YOUR SIX" still has the same hard edged "Beauty meets the beast feel" with vocalist Gwen Bartolini taming the beast while leading the way. However the music itself has taken a slight turn and has become it's own entity. "I think alot of listeners will be pleasingly surprised with the intensity of this album, I am excited to branch out and try new things on this album."-reports Gwen Bartolini.

German black metallers DARK FORTRESS have issued the following update:
"Die My Darling", the new video from the Canadian all-girl metal band KITTIE , will premiere on the official Thrash And Burn MySpace page at 3:00 p.m. EST on Monday, June 7. The clip was filmed on May 4 with veteran Canadian director John Barber.
The German band, ANGELZOOM, has announced the release of their upcoming album called "Nothing Is Infinite" on september 23rd. On September 3rd they will release their single: "The Things You Said." They have just recorded their videoclip.
NIGHTWISH singer Anette Olzon is currently collaborating with Martinus "Martijn" Spierenburg (WITHIN TEMPTATION) and Fredrik Bergh (BLOODBOUND, STREET TALK) on a brand new project. She says, "I have recorded one song that is with Martijn for mixing at the moment and I look forward to hearing it soon. The project album is also being discussed with record labels at the moment and as soon as we know more I promise to tell you who else will be involved, etc."

MIDNATTSOL, band featuring vocalist Carmen Elise Espenaes (the younger sister of LEAVES' EYES singer Liv Kristine), has finished recording the drum tracks for the band's third album at Studio E (THE VISION BLEAK, LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE, SECRETS OF THE MOON) with producer Markus Stock. A late 2010 release is expected.
